Both Costco and Sams Club set limits on Rice sales.

BILLINGS - Spiking costs nationwide cause two major grocery stores to limit the amount of rice their customers can buy. Both Costco and Sams Club have set limits.

Billings Costco General Manager says it's not that there's necessarily a shortage, it's just supply and demand. People are buying rice in larger quantities because they're concerned prices will go even higher.

At the Billings Costco, customers are limited to 5 bags per purchase. However, if you have a history with the store of buying rice in bulk you will not be limited.

The Sam's here limits the rice purchases to 4 bags ber customer per visit.

TO be quite honest, I've read a few things that say this recession could be worse than the Depression. Don't think for a second I'm not going to get 3 or so bags...I really need to start our survival kit. Not trying to be morbid or anything, but if it's not terrorism, it's scaring everyone into thinking there won't be enough food; let alone be able to afford it. You keep floating through everything thinking it will all work out, but it's just time to start preparing for the worst.
