BMW M1

Hiding in an airplane hanger lies this 2008 BMW M1 Prototype. It looks like its sitting on a streched chassis of the current BMW M3 incorporating various parts including the front facia and the hood. Of course they have been slightly changed to fit the agrresive stance of this BMW. We don’t know any more details at this point other then it was created by H0SS Forero.

Picture looks a little sketchy. I'm guessing a photoshop flattening of the M3. Even has the same carbon fiber roof.

looks like BMW's answer to the Audi TT, for the kids the shorter wheel base of the 1 series should be a blast

No, no, no. The M1 would be the answer to the R8. There has been talk of another M1 for a long time, but its not realistic.

Not sure I agree with that. That M1 looks stretched out and quite a bit bigger than a TT. It even looks longer than the M3.

if it was photoshop why would they add the ugly little reflector light on the front of the car? the 08 M3 didnt have that.

That little ugly reflector light is obviously fake. The one on the side doesnt look real either.

doesn't look so obvious to me. and why would you purposely put something ugly on something that you are trying to make look cool?

Another thing that lets me know its fake is the fact that the quarterpanel and the front fascia are all one piece. I'm 99% sure its a chop. Its a good one, but still a chop.

why cant it be all in one piece?

by the way, i saw an R8 in the wild the other day. the little led lights stay on all the time, even during the day. they are super bright and they really take away from the beauty of the car. night time only would be fine but during the day. thats ghey.

If they are all one piece than you would have to replace 1/5th of the car's body if you damaged the front bumper. I've never ever seen a car made like that. Plus, I found the wheels. From the Mazda Kabura concept...

And here are those funny shaped headlights. I thought they looked familiar. Evo X....

Funny you mentioned it, but I think the R8 is part of this chop. That back right window looks incredibly R8ish...

Totally agree. They need to hire whoever did it as a designer for BMW.

It won't look like the car in that article. They are just trying to make that car emulate the original M1, almost to a T.

The quarterpanel and the hood are all one piece in the case of the viper. Neither are connected to the front bumper. In the M1 photochop the front bumper and quarterpanel are all one piece.

Plus the quarterpanel on the viper is about 1 square foot.
