Meeting Frank Zane
I'm heading to San Diego next month for 5 days. Looking forward for some due down time. A girl I have been dating ended up getting me a 4 hour session with Frank Zane during my time there. Really cool of her. Although Frank is not my all time favorite I still have a ton of respect for him and admire what he has done for the sport. And he is one of the few guys that still takes care of himself. Not sure what to expect from the session but just excited to talk to one of the old time greats. Below is a picture of him now at 64.

Here's the link to the "Zane Experience". Zane Experience
He sends you a card that needs to be filled out before he meets with you. He wants to know your goals are(diet and training) and what you want to get out of the session. 4 hours isn't that long but again really looking forward to the overall experience. |

Wow, thats an amazing opportunity I hope you make the best of it.
He's an amazing example of longevity and there have been threads recently showing how many guys have let themselves go (leverone, Dillet etc). Zane is an example of bodybuilding as a lifestyle and how you can maintain yourself through the years. Its interesting to me that in the age of bodybuilders using heavier and heavier poundages this guy never squatted more that like 400lb and mostly stayed in the 200-300lb range for reps. Clearly his tendons have lasted as a result. Not saying that heavy training doesn't play its part in building strong foundation but clearly you can build an awsome physique by sculpting with a moderate weight using correct form, and make it last
