Mr incredible's Olympia Journey.

When do you leave for the O bro? How much are the flights? Pretty long flight from London to Vegas.

haha! well since you asked bouncy buddy;

Flight leaves at 10:00 hrs GMT Friday and arrives Vegas 13:00 hrs vegas time presumably. Not sure exactly how long but probably about 10-11 hrs. The flight is direct so with a good wind, some cool movies and a happy Mrs, hopefully the journey won't be too painful.

When we get there its straight to Bellagio and then try get a table booked some cool reastaurant for the evening, hopefully I'll have picked up a good video cam at the airport with some CD's so that will need charging and practice. Then come saturday;

"IT'S TIME" - its a dream come true for me I'll be down to the Orleans ticket box to pick up my pre order $200 tickets and then we'll hand all day at the expo, the powerlifting, martial arts and then the big one the Mr Olympia finals.

Hopefully I'll meet up with some people there, my mates cousin is Nicole Ball and I met her and get along great with her dad so hopefuly they are around (B let me know if any of your possy are there).

Flights and hotels were about £3,000 in total, thats 4 days at Bellagio and 5 at the Wynn Las Vegas. Got some spending dough changed up into that monopoly money you guys use LOL its real cool, I feel like a cowboy (sept I can't gamble for shit so staying clear of too many casinos lol)
Its all about pictures handshakes and signitures, gonna build myself a real lil memory box outa this trip, I love bodybuilding, I'l never be like those guys but I still love it.

Starting to get really excited now, my wife got real pissed off last night, we were packing some stuff and when it came to swim shorts I said "fuck the shorts I'm buying some posing briefs at the expo" she said if I dared to wear that shit pool side she would dissown me LOL

seriousely though I'm hoping to pick up some gym footwear at the expo. I can't wait only another day to go but I doubt I'll sleep now

Is that total for just you and your wife? That just seems high, last time I was in Vegas it was super cheap, they basically give away rooms in hopes that you will stay longer. I know this is a big season for them and especially with the O going on, but it just seems high, or you got some pimp rooms. Either way you will love it. Vegas is great, and you must gamble.

Most expensive element is the flights bro, don't forget its international. Ya I have nice rooms but not top ones. I will gamble I'm just saying that I'll only take with me what I'm prepared to loose, I'd never go gambling to win, not really.

I should be meeting up with Kevin Randleman during my trip also, to thank me for the trip my lady is taking me to the shooting range there. We got Cirque de Soleil booked also, will do the canyon and see what events are on (rodeo, motorcross, skate board) other than that there are plenty desert excursions like dune buggies etc and shit loads of top quality shrimp and beef will be getting eaten also

The Cirque shows are amazing. Are you doing the O show or Mystere? When you say "canyon" - are you meaning Hoover Dam? Also cool to at least see.

i had a free ticket and free flight that i didn't find out about until 10am today. only think i would have to pay for is the hotel. had i known last night i would be out there now, my friends left EWR today at noon.

It's not too late, there are boat load of rooms there I am actually suprised. I was on orbitz and hotels.com and almost every hotel had rooms, I booked monte carlo for $ 150 a night and it was last minute.
I'll be driving to get there.

I know this sounds a bit gay but what should you wear at the Olympia, I mean I was thinking a T shirt would be good during the day for any pics I manage to get with the monstors for comparison arm shots etc

But for the night show I would have thought a loose shirt, I'm not one for overly tight tops and shit?

Dude I am waaay to puny to wear anything to show my shit, but I say if you wanna take pictures to compare yorself wear someting like a tank top sleveless shirt at the convention center around booths because that's when you get to see the pros up close and personal and take pics with them and like you said just jeans and t shirt should be ok for the evening show since you might go to a club or someting after the show.
