WTF- 2012?
Ok, does anyone find it pretty concerning about how many earthquakes that have happened recently? First Haiti, then chile, then Indonesia, and now Turkey just this morning??
This is getting kinda freaky. |

No, but I do find it funny how many people are overwhelmed and convinced by the whole Mayan calendar/end of the world nonsense.

2012 The world is supposed to end because the solar flares will be very active most likely reaching out farther than they ever have. Some scientists believe that they could interrupt our fragile magnetic field, possible flipping the magnets poles opposite thus the earth would try to pull through itself. Honestly, I think it would be insane to witness "The End of the World". I wonder what it be would be like those last few minutes knowing that it is all over?

2012 is a bunch of mumbo jumbo. I don't believe in that. I do believe in what God has written in The Quran. If December 21, 2012 is the last day of the world, so be it.

The Earth has times of high activity and times of low activity. The earths tectonic plates are constantly moving and shaping the earth. Have been for almost 5 billion years. The united states moves away from Europe at a pace of around 2 inches per year etc.. Same thing is happening to every continent, plates moving away and plates moving towards.. Eventually these plates are going to hit each other in the moving process and thus you have an earth quake.

sorry bro, there is absolutely no way to predict that solar flares will be "very active" in 2 years. we can only predict a solar flare just hours before it happens. and lastly, the magnetic fields flipping would not "pull the earth through itself". the fields have flipped before many times. the last time was around 750,000 years ago. the effect would be that compasses and digital instruments that use directional technology would be reversed. it would be a technology nightmare but thats about it. you would not notice anything for example if you were sitting in your house or out driving down the street etc.. |

Here is something to get B wound up.
Mark 13:8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains. |

and just so you guys understand.
this whole 2012 thing came from nothing more then a misinterpretation of what the Mayan calendar actually means. we perceived the last date in that calendar as the end of the world, but that is not what the Mayan meant it to mean. if you listen to someone like a professor or specialist in Mayan civilization and culture he or she will tell you that just like an English calender, at the end of the year our calender "ends". and just like us, at the end of the year we replace our calendar and start a new year. the difference being their calender was for a longer period then a year. they followed time on a longer scale. to sum up, the Mayan "End" date is simply a time to start a new and start a new calender much like we do each year.. |

basically you "predict" things that you know will happen because they happen over and over again over time. look at your quote, lets dissect it a bit... "nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom". Umm, that's called War and it has been human nature for as long as we have existed. think for a second bro, don't be clouded by "fear of god" but instead use your mind, you have it for a reason. "there will be earthquakes in various places and famines". Well no shit. Earthquakes are and have always been a part of what the world is. we have always had periods of active earthquake time and periods of low activity. as far as famines go, they have always been around. they were around when a group of men with a power agenda wrote that book you so love and they are around today. famine is natural in a world with billions and billions of people. "2012 the world is going to end because". that is the problem right there bro. that is what people are doing all over the world. they take something they dont understand and then state it as fact. then someone like rado and dna come along, read it and then they go repeat that to their family's etc.. ![]() all jokes aside though, ^ what i just said is exactly how cults and religions etc.. can begin. something small and stupid can turn into something huge that people start taking as fact and the next thing you know you have someone like me who can see the potential money and power in all of this and i decided to write a book of rules and call it "Bounceranity". that in a nut shell is the brilliance of the the various creators of religions around the world. and yes that includes the Scientology guy. laugh at him now but in a 1000 years when they have 3 billion followers you will have wished you came up with it.. ![]() |

now that is pretty close when compared to the size of the universe (trillions and trillions of light years, so long in fact that you dont measure it in distance but in time. the time it would take traveling at the speed of light.) just wanted to point it out because the media grabs on to shit like that and says "it was a near miss today" and people dont really understand that it was still 2 million miles away etc.. most of them on that link you posted will miss us on average by 80-120 million miles.. |
