Surfing the net safely for kids???
What programs are out there to let kids surf the net safely (ie. block out porn, etc.)? I've heard of Net Nanny only. Anyone have any experience with these programs? I assume they can be turned off when the adults want to have access to stuff. Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks!

We use Norton Internet Security. There are other programs out there that are better but Norton is so user friendly that my wife feels comfortable using it and she only recently learned how to turn the computer on. Norton has a password so you can turn off the parental block anytime you want.

There's so many options out there. Your ISP or wep page that you prefer will probably have some sort of offer. Just type "your wev page + Parent control.

As I'm researching I'm finding there are a lot of different blocker programs out there. And of course sites to defeat the software. LOL Kids! http://www.cexx.org/censware.htm
