Post Ready for my 1st cycle

I am 39yo
5'11
150lbs
7.8 BF

Diet is mostly Chicken, fish, rice and pasta. 3 to 4 meals aday with 2 or 3 protein shakes (40grams each) with creatine between meals.

The creatine I have stopped because i saw no results sept for water retention.

I am getting ready to start a cycle of var 10mg 3xs aday for 8 weeks and would like some help with the PCT. I can not find any info on what to take or how much for a cycle of var. I want to do var to start out slow and see how it gos. i am not looking for huge gains right away.

My goal is to gain about 10 lbs and keep it. This I have never been able to do because i seem to burn off everything in my sleep. and yes... I eat till i am blue in the face and almost cant move.

Please advice.

Thank You.

Well I know you said you eat till you're blue in the face, but you need to eat more especially if your metabolism is high. Myself for example, I eat at least 8 times a day. And that's not including shakes. If you eat a ton more, you'll gain that 10 lbs in no time.

Well, stop eating until you are blue in the face and just eat less, but more frequently. I eat about 7-8 times a day. Every 2 hours or so.

Um sure. Maybe you're not eating the right stuff. You should throw in some red meat in your diet.

trip is on a distinguished road
Do you know your total calorie intake?

That's what I eat and it averages to about 2,500 cals, which is maitenance, not enough to grow on.

8 weeks of var can shut you down, especially at age 39 yrs. , you need to be a little more cautious due to age, so being aware of pct is good

How long have you been lifting?

30 mg a day of var is good, and you should reach your goals, you will need to eat a little more, you should know if it is real cause your strength should skyrocket quickly, you'll know

be prepared to do standard pct, better safe than sorry

Trip,
I am going to start adding up the calories tomorrow to so how much it is i am taking in on a daily bases. I do know that i need 3000 at lest and maybe 300 grams of protein. I have been lifting on and off for about 10 years. my problem has always been that i burn it up so fast i could and still cant seem to get over 150. I am going to put together a total game plan in the morning for what i need to eat in 5 or 6 meals aday to do the 3000/300 aday and go from there. problem is that eating like that has always given to a beer belly and its never gone where it should.

when you say that the var could shut me down what do you mean? if i do the 8 weeks with an intake of 3000/300 at lest and work out pushing hard every other day and then start norvadax 40mg aday for 4 to 6 weeks does that sound right? dont get me wrong here. i am not rushing into this nor is there something i came up a week ago. i have given it much thought over the last few years but never really thought i could do it. i am at the point in my life where i need this for my self. i am just getting all the right info needed at this point and need to know what i have so far is right.

Recap:
VAR 10mgs 3x's aday
calorie intake of at lest 3000 aday
protein intake of at lest 300 aday
a ton of water
end of the cycle:
nolva 40mg aday for 4 to 6 weeks

sound right?
Advice is Welcome.
