I'm new to this forum, but I think it's out of my league

I just signed up & I'm on some other forums but compared to this one, I think this forum is out of my league.

I started training for football in highschool & that I was a porker with a 43inch waist.

I'm %100 natural. I'm not on supplements anymore as some have caused my hyper thyroid condition which is finally undercontol after 4yrs. I was about 227lbs at 5ft10 naturally & lost 30lbs in 3-4 weeks & now battled back to 205lbs. I've always had relatively good condition.

Or so I thought until I've looked through this forum to see everyone else here some of the steroid users (no criticism intended) & body builders & so on, I think this forum is out of my league.

I may pass through to see what's going on, but I think this isn't the forum is out of my league.

Nonesense. This forum is for everyone to learn. Having all the vets here only help in bringing up the less expierinced. You have to remeber that we all had to start somewhere.

I wouldn't say that I'm inexperienced as I have been training for 10yrs since I was 15yrs old.

But I still feel inferior here as I've never taken steroids even though I've been offered many times by friends & teammates.

I'm on a couple of other forums & there aren't nearly as many steroid users (no offense to any users), or bodybuilders on them as here.

This is why it's a bit intimidating. But if I should come by more often than I don't mind?

Think of it this way bro, you know when you go to the gym and you see guys who are just completely shredded and you want to ask them for some tips but are afraid to ask them anything. This is the place where you come to ask those questions and read up on info that can help you out. The guys here know what they are talking about. There is also a whole natty forum if that’s what your looking for. Don’t be discoraged man everyone here always willing to help.

I understand what you're saying. But what about when I give training or diet advice? My advice will probably be criticised.

I am 5ft 10 at 205-210lbs with a 34 inch waist & totally natural.

As I said my physique & strength went through a lot with that hyper thyroid condtion which I might add was caused by the ephedrine/ephedra supplements. My T3 & T4 levels remained high even after I stopped the supplements. I never had a thyroid condition before until these supplements.

But since I don't have my 227lbs right now, I feel like I won't be able to keep up here. I wish I had my physique from 2001 before my hyper thyroid. Then I wouldn't feel as inferior here as now even at 205lbs at 5ft10.

But if you guys think I should stick around, than I will. I will give advice & take recommended advice. Thanks.

no one will criticize... there are a lot of people here with less knowledge than you have , just trying to learn.

this board has non steriod users as well..... stick around and learn and contribute. the only stupid question is the one not asked.

Okay that's cool.

For someone who shrunk down from about 227lbs with a 34 inch waist at 5ft10 do you think is good for someone totally natural?

As I said I lost about 30lbs in 3-4 weeks due to my hyper thyroid condition from the ephedrine/ephedra & thermogenic fatburners. For almost a year I didn't know what was wrong. I was fatigued 24/7 while sleeping 12-15hrs total in a 24hr period. I was constantly sweating & I had anxiety & it also caused depression.
My arms were 18-19inches pretty hard & I lost pratically all of it. I'd say they're about 17 inches now.

I battled back currently to about 205-210lbs at 5ft10 with a 34 inch waist & relatively good condition. Do you think these stats are still resonable?

I gained a lot of body fat between last August & December of 2003 as I had Iodine treatment in a modified hyper thyroid treatment. & now I'm on synthyroid treatment.

So my physique has taken a major hit over the last few years as you can see.

I'm getting ready to post some pics on my other forum so when I'm ready I will post here to.

Sometimes I wish I took drugs when I was around 227lbs as I would've exploded to about 250lb's probably then maybe I wouldn't have lost so much weight from my thyroid condition.

Does anyone else here have a throid condition? There are several ppl at my other place that do.

Thanks all.

Welcome aboard, brother!

Don't sweat the little stuff, brother.. There's alot of room for the type of training you know, and the type we know.. The best thing about this forum is that we can learn from each other, regardless of natty/geared, bodybuilder/football player..

Got some impressive stats, brother.. I'm only an inch shorter @ 202, so you're not the smallest guy here..

Those stats are not bad at all.. I was all natty until recently, and I am currently 5'11", and around 205-210. My BF is not super low either..

Definately stick around. I am a new guy here, and I have learned more in the past few weeks then I have in many of the previous months. Its a great forum, lots of helpful and smart people here.
