new guy here

Hello all,

I am 31 years old and very new to this scene. I just started lifting last October and to be honest it's the first time I've even had a membership to a gym. I feel good now and stronger. I need to surround myself with some like-minded people so that I can stay on track, so here I am.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm in southwest Colorado. We are getting more snow here than in the past 20 some years. I'm doing so much damn shoveling that it's hard to motivate myself to go lift

I've always had a slender build. But now that I'm getting older and starting to put on weight in my gut, I've decided that it's time to put some work not only into keeping the fat off, but also to finally bulking up a little.

I'm 5'9" 160 lbs. and I'd like to put on and maintain another 20 lbs. or so.
