Powerlifting and a mixture of bodybuilding
Hey guys
i know that everyone on this board has a mixture of ideas of how to train and different theorys. But that can only be a good thing. My main type of training tends to be more towards powerlifting, simply because im resonably good at it. With the compound lifts i never do more than 5 reps, keep the volume low and hit the nervous system rather then the muscles. but when im doing what i call Bodybuilding routines i.e chest fly, shoulder presses i up the reps to 8. This way i believe you get the best of both worlds, strong and a good physique. Is been working well so far.Cheers guys. 5 feet 8 85 kilos bench 140kg dedlift 225kg squat 210 kg here is a pic of my best squat, taken on the way up, i was lower!! lol
