Welcome to the site bro, you came to the right place. The key to diet is to eat every 2 to 3 hours so your body always has nutrients in the reserve for muscle gain and weight gain. I will give you a sample of what your diet should look like if your trying to gain weight. Make sure to always have at least a gram of protein per pound of body weight.

Meal 1: 6egg whites mixed with 2 whole eggs scrambled, 6oz bowl of oatmeal mixed with honey and fruit

Meal 2: Protein Shake and a PB&J Sandwhich on whole wheat.

Meal 3: Steak, Some type of potato

Meal 4: Tuna sandwhich on whole wheat

Meal 5: Some type of meat and potatoes, (I realize your 15 so whatever your mom makes is ok.)

Meal 6: Before Bed Protein Shake.

Let me know if there is anything you dont understand and I will try my best to help you out.

if your having trouble with that ... and you decided or you do work out at the gym... why not try weight gainer with some icecream/ pb and bannas. My friend matt did this n he actually gained some meat on him other then just skin and bones he didnt get fat its only good for 15 pounds n if u lift it will be helpful for building muscle making u apear less boney or skinny.

Scrumhalf will become famous soon enough
Weight gainer and ice cream are all going to have a lot of calories for sure, but a signficant fraction will be from fat.

Even though he is only 15 and probably has a very fast metabolism, there is no need to eat more fat to gain calories. You can get lots of calories and eat perfectly healthy food, as Bouncer described.

weight gainer is more convienent, I dont think hes gonna tell his mom to cook him steak and a baked potato etc... using 8 eggs a day? His mom prolly wont be too fly with that either. Its great advice but if hes still living at home w/o a job i think he'd be better off asking for peanut butter bananas and weight gainer. He just needs the calories bulking anything he can get really so he can get some meat on him then hit the gym up. God if life loved me id have his problem... instead if i even think about eating ice cream i a stomache ahahaha. Nah =p

im 18 and I still get my mom to make my meals... guess thats diff between me and u only I choose for her to make em. I can make fine meals but why labor when u can get the woman to do it??? ahahaha. But seriously at 15 if his parents are anything like mine theyd prolly say ahh ur fine u dont need to do anything and not really support him thinking its just a phase or something. 8 eggs a day though and some of the other foods suggested would prolly be a bit demanding on the household or mom running out every other day for him. I kno my parents dont do that... w/e just think about it kid.
