how fat/skinny I should be to gain muscle

Hi all.

I have a quick question. What should be the body fat percentage to provide the most anabolic complexion???
I mean how fat/skinny I should be to gain muscle the fastest way.
I have noticed when I'm skinny gain muscle easier than when I'm kind of stocky, but when I'm stocky I'm stronger.

I was going to ask how is it better workout on mass?
Is it better stay kind of fat (little bit) or it's better to be a lot fat???

it doesn't matter... muscle is muscle if you're fat or skinny... you may just THINK you're gaining more muscle beause you can SEE it better without all the fat that covers it up.

when you're "skinny" you're probably taking in fewer calories overall (i.e. caloric deficit), which is why you: 1. think you "gain" more muscle and 2. you feel weak (or weaker).

When you're "stocky" you're probably at least meeting your energy expenditure requirements or surpassing them (i.e. caloric surplus), which is why you "feel stronger".

I dont know what the hell your saying... plug you numbers in here

H O W M U C H T O E A T - example: 192lb, 33yrs old.
STEP 1: YOUR WEIGHT IN POUNDS _192_ X 11 =_2112_ BASIC CALORIE NEEDS
STEP 2: BASIC CALORIE NEEDS_2112_ X _45_% CAL. COST OF ACTIVITY LEVEL (below) = _950_ METABOLIC RATE
STEP 3: BASIC CALORIE NEEDS_2112_ + _950_ METABOLIC RATE = _3062_ MAINTENANCE TOTAL
STEP 4: MAINTENANCE TOTAL _3062_ + 500 = _3562_ TO GAIN MUSCLE
STEP 5: MAINTENANCE TOTAL _3062_ - 500 = _2562_ TO LOSE FAT
or
STEP 5: MAINTENANCE TOTAL _3062_ - 1000 = _2062_ Aggressive FAT Lose 1-2lbs a week
