isolating muscles

my training routine consists on doing chest and tris back and bi's and shoulders and legs because i heard that that is the best way to do it. whats the difference if i isolate, like just doing one diff body part everyday?

Ive wondered this lately myself. I never do more than 2 bodyparts a day, but Ive been told that doing 1 bodypart a day is best for cutting? I dont really know how lol
