Are you having a post-workout shake? use the search engine and make sure you have a decent pwo shake. Besides that, casein protein is a good late-night nutrition option. That can come from cottage cheese or a casein protein shake. You can also make sugar-free, fat-free jello with casein protein and water.

cottage cheese is may absolute fave... or a scoop of muscle milk. keeps me from waking up from hunger. also, be sure you are drinking plenty of water; a large percentage of what people perceive as hunger pains are actually found to be dehydration.

I'd reccomend potato chips since they really make your biceps look bigger.
You shouldn't drink too much water too, water's kinda liberal.

Just wait till you see some of his other posts! There's no way he's a bodybuilder or even a powerlifter--total wannabe and loser.

You're lifting and then coming right home and going to bed? You should be drinking a pwo shake which would ordinarily consist of high GI carbs (sugar) and whey, but since you're going to bed right after that, I'd make a shake with whey, casien and natty peanut butter. That's the best I can come up with. You're sure there's no other time you can lift?

FishOil/Flaxseed oil, cottage cheese, casien, and peanut butter (should not be a staple).

bagels!?!? not only are bagels about 5 servings of bread (toast), but this guy is looking for a post workout meal. bagels won't have the protein he's looking for, or give him an advantage in losing the 50 lbs he wants to lose. cottage cheese is the number one late night staple here. stick w. the CC.

agree...water definately affects if you feel "hungry". i notice this drastically when i am dieting if i don't drink much water during the day.

Yogurt = Dairy sugars
Bananas = High GI carbs

I would personally avoid both late at night. Casein protein and healthy fats all the way for me.

Natty Pb and cererly Plus lots of water. Do the cassein protein before bed and go to sleep before midnight. I personally have gone from 285 lbs fat no muscle to 252 and little fat all muscle. Do it.

I really dont like cottage cheese so I just take big spoonfuls and then sip on martinellis apple cider. Its not the best thing at night but a little goes a long way to get the cottage cheese down. It kills the taste much better than water. It only takes about 6 good spoonfuls to get in over a cup of cottage cheese. when I dont have any of that I make a casein shake.

Cottage cheese with peaches tastes great! or raw almonds are good at curbing your appetite
