Meat!!

A couple of questions about meat... would having a pack of meat, say 100g be ok as a snack, obviously not processed shit. and is it important to eat a variety of meats or does it all do the same job? thanks for the help people. sorry if this sounds bone to some of you but to me and other newbies its a big help!

Its is important to have a variety. Different nutrients ect. Include a carb source with the meat. Brown rice, oats, yams ect..

its just odd how you said "pack of meat." people get the idea you are walking around with a bunch of meat in a baggy just eating it all day. lol.

I would becareful eatin those cuz the pre-sliced meat that is packaged contains a lot of SALT. Eatin a 100g a day would shoot up ur BP, and also having all that salt in ur body will make u gain weight. Salt holds water and makes u dehydrated, so naturally u will chug down water, but not urinate enough out. Therefore, u will retain excess water weight.

i dont think he is talking about sliced meat, think he was just using it as an example. i think he may be from Europe and there is a language barrier going on.

I am from England yes lol. and i was talking about sliced meat. It just seems like a easy snack, however i didnt know about these salt levels. its the only piece of nutritional info left out. are there any other substitutes you guys eat that you can think of?

ah, in that case, no. sliced meat is crap. processed shit. whole meat, chicken, fish, is the only way to go man. for a quick fix, shakes and stuff like that is good.

what i do is i make like about 2 peanut butter sandwiches everyday and keep in my backpack while i am in school. So what i do is bust one out whenever i can't eat "real food" or i am hungry, and just eat that to suppress my appetite. Than try to eat "real food" 30-45min later
The protein shake is a good idea too, i used to do that but stopped and made pb sanwiches.
u can also try canned tuna, RTD's, nut mix, small protein bar (i used to eat those whenever i went to the movies) great little snack that has like 150 cals, 7g protein, and like 13g carbs.
Experiment and c what works for u.

try adding a shake with the PB sandwiches brother. not much protein in the sandwich alone.

ya bro, lunch meat is garbage. cook some ground beef, turkey, chicken, buffalo and seperate it out into containers and it will stay good in the fridge for 4-5 days

PB sandwich and an ice cold chocolate protein shake is my favorite thing to eat. Tastes just as good as a cheat meal.
