is this normal or is it just okay it happens ?
For some reason i don't feel sore the following day after i work out even though i go really hard at it. i start feeling sore 2 days later after i work out a body part. for example i would work on my chest on monday and then start feeling it Wednesday. any idea ?

It is perfectly normal - and even if you aren't sore, it doesn't mean you didn't work out hard. My legs never get sore until the second day after I've worked them.

Yep, happens to me all the time. I will train chest or any other body part. Take the next day off and not even be sore. Then I go to the gym the next day and I am sore as hell.

I dont even get sore at all most of the time. my legs are really the only body part that gets sore every time. every once in a while if i nut on my tris they will be a little sore for a few days.
even though i know being sore doesnt necessarily mean u had a better workout, i must admit i feel like i worked harder when i am sore.

I always get sore too on a 48 hour cycle, not 24 hours. I think that is pretty typical for most people.

something is definitely wrong then. lol. your muscle should be sore, not your joints. its all about feeling the muscle when you left. not about the heaviest weight.

Well I always keep my reps at an intense 8-10. I mostly do traditional splits, (not doing my lagging arms split anymore). I keep the weight as heavy as possible and I revolve around all the good lifts, (bench, squat, DL, military press, rows, etc.) The only thing I can think of is my rest between sets. I usually rest at least 2 minutes between sets should I bring that down to a minute??

Yeah I've seen it. I actually have always focused on my form and I have a fairly slow pace on most lifts. (With the exception of maybe standing military press when im trying to force out a couple extra reps) I'll try shortening my rest time between sets and see if it does anything for me.

I have as well found that there is an odd delay in when I feel sore. Sometimes never at all, worried me at first because I was taught that you should feel sore a few days after your workout. Then I realized the person who told me that was either wrong.
