I have always stuck to flax oil, fish oil (both consumed cold), and olive oil (for cooking). I do not recall all the reasons, but flax oil and fish oil are very good sources of omega 3s. However, both are so unsaturated that they can form lipid peroxides (bad for your body) when heated. Therefore, olive oil, which does not break down as much when heated, is better for cooking.
The only way I consume peanut oil is when I eat natural peanut butter. I believe it is fine when consumed that way.
