First off...what are you eating and how much....Secondly, how much calorie burning activity do you engage in daily and what is your present bf??? All exercise is beneficial if it's done properly and on a regular basis...

welcome to the board. Definately need more info before giving advice, like he already has asked. Read around, diet is going to be very important, so check the nutrition forum!

How's your carb intake. Think about lowering it especially during evening. We in britain are not quite the Atkins obsessives that our US cousins are but even our "World Cup" winning rugbu team don't eat carbs after midday. That being said , they are now pro's and so I doubt they train much in the evening. Still, main thing is to use carbs as purely energy fodder for training. Stay clear of refined ones and simple sugars. Eat your protein 'bout 1/2 hour or so after training (some find it difficult 'cos of the suppressant effect of training- but just swallow and think of england (sorry, insert your own country there) and don't nosh before bedtime. I'm sure others onsite can give you fair advice with a more detailed case history.
