Anybody else sick of eating tuna

I myself cannot stand it anymore, I've made myself sick of the smell from eating so much in the past few months

Ditto. Now I buy the albacore pouches. More expensive, but tastes a lot better. Still, if i eat it more than once a week, I wanna hurl.

Either. it's kinda like fish fillet consistency, not all food-processor chopped and watered down. you can eat it in a sandwich or thow it over a salad or make tuna salad. tons better than canned.

I have actually been trying to stay away from tuna. Most store bought brands, especially albacore have high mercury levels in it. Not to mention, due to the packaging "so called water" they loose most of their essential nutrients that we mainly eat fish for, such as omega-3-FAs. There is this one company called St. Jude that is caught and packaged in a different manner. Compared to brands like Starkist it had 1.6 grams of Omega-3s compared to .5 of Starkist. It is packaged in its own juices and is virtually mercury free. I am planning on giving this stuff a try.

As for preperation, spice up your recipes a lil. Throw in some spicy mustard in your tuna salad, toast the bread, ass dif stuff. There are millions of variations to eat you tuna. HTH

Put like a tablespoon of italian dressing on top of it in the can. It masks the taste really well, but sounds nasty

i eat it anyway. Im really sick and tired of it but hey what the heck, its anb easy 40grams of protein there. I also eat it with boiled eggs and mustard. Try lemon, or pico del gallo (tamato, chili, and onions). Theres alot of things u can eat with , also chips, doritos, whatever u want to eat it with bro

there is only so much tuna i can fucking take. no matter what i add either sweet relish, mustard, no fat mayo, salsa, hot sauce it still has that blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah taste. i have started getting some salmon in the can and switching up as well as fresh fish fillets and throwing them on my foreman grill.

Hehe Im still hangin in there lol. I consume quite a lot of tuna too. But there's always many things you can do with it. All you have to do is have a good diet and use your imagination to create some good recepie. With good balanced diet you can afford to add some mayonnaise.

Just think, eating the tuna is only 10 mins out of your day and think of all the lovely protein your muscles will be getting..... If you think about this, your tuna will be finished before you know it...

yeah, tuna is great for the protein but variety is the key. Salmon, chicken, turkey, lean beef cuts, even lean, boneless pork loin chops all have good amounts of protein that is really not much less than tuna. So, alternate a lot so you don't OD on tuna.

The guy who trains Ronnie Coleman and 6 of the other Olympia competitors this year takes his clients off of fish protein right away when they hire him...he feels it's not a good muscle growth protein. Puts all clients on beef, chicken, turkey, and lean pork. So no need to eat tuna; get some eye of round from the butcher and sink your teeth into some beef!
