carb question!!!

I was looking at a website by James Jordon. I Got This Statement from his website. I wanted to know what you guys think about this. For instance, did you know that your body uses different types of enzymes to digest different types of foods? Meats require a more acidic enzyme to be digested while something like a potato requires a more Alkaline enzyme known as amylase. Both of which your stomach can create for digesting food.

Guess what happens if you were to eat Protein with a Potato at the same time? He states The Acidic stomach enzymes and Alkaline enzymes cancel each other out, making it much harder for your body to build muscles with the food you just ate. Unless you know how to properly eat to make your digestion as effective as possible, very high percentages of the nutrients you eat go to waste!

What do you think?

I know as far as protein is concerned your body will absorb only so much at a time, more if you add a digestive aide. as far as carbs i would think wasting them would be a good thing, and also a falicy. Because if you wasted them you wouldnt store them as fat. But that just an opinion.

wow if that is true then that would change a lot of things. The concept of taking in carbs proteins and fats in each meal would be completely obsolete. Not to mention I, and probably a lot of people, would have to change their diet drastically. Somebody with more knowledge clarify this please.

Is this the same James Gordon who thinks thousands of people have been abducted by aliens? I tried to find his website and found a Dr. James Gordon who sounds like a lunatic. He also sent a letter to the Oklahoma City court trying Terry Nichols for the fedreal building bombing, saying that he did not think Nichols was a violent person. Ha. Is this the guy who wrote the food enzyme article you read?
