do anyone know?

quick question,

how would you count coffee when counting your calorie intake for the day.

i put non dairy creamer, and slpenda in it for flavor. thats it. besides the creamer which is 10 calories per tsp i don't know how to count the rest.

also i just started drinking coffee (a lot), my first two shows i did not. could this be one of those little things that i shouldn't be doing? or because coffee acts like a fat burner, is it ok..

thanks for your help.

I would limit your coffee intake for precontest to about 2 cups a day. The week before your show I would cut it out completely. Coffee acts as a diuretic in your body, and when you're trying to water load it can hinder the effects somewhat.

Coffee is just like tea when it comes to caloric intake. They both have trace calories. And none that will impact your diet negatively.

Well, I'm not a personal trainer. LOL. This lifestyle is a big part of my life, though. I've been at it for over 4 years, and learned a lot.

I'm in the finance business.

i was asking because as i have been involved in fitness/exercise/ lifting for many years, i just started competeting this year and have done 3 bodybuilding comps so far, so a lot of this is new to me. i'm always asking questions and learning. you read so many different things so it's hard to know what to follow and what not to. i feel as if i came into my last show off alittle, so i was just curious if the small changes had anything to do with it. .... thanks for your help.

More than likely they don't have that much impact...but why risk it, ya know?

Are you certain you had your carb up/depletion, sodium load/depletion, and water load/depletion nailed? If you come in a little off, or not as tight, that's the reason a good portion of the time.
