1% Milk

I'm trying to cut my body fat % and was wondering if 1% milk is ok to drink and still shred. I know milk is good for you and 1% has the highest protein. Fat free is way too thin and doesnt taste all that good. Or should I switch to soy?

If you are trying to cut I would cut out milk/dairy for the most part.

When I try to gain I usually use half a cup of skim in the morning with my oatmeal.

I hear you on that phreak, i usually drink my whey protein 3 times a day with the 1%. I've tried juice and water and both just dont do it. What is your take on soy? I know it tastes like garbage but If thats what i got to do.

I would stay away from milk and soy. Soy actually raises estrogen.

I'm not sure the nutrient breakdown with soy or if it bloats me the same way since I haven't tried it. Maybe someone else thats tried it has some input....

If its only because the taste of your shakes maybe try some new proteins? I know the protein I get from allthewhey tastes fine with water, and if its the right time you can toss that and some natural PB in the blender to avoid all those extra carbs you'd get if you used milk.
