Ultimate Diet 2.0

In attempts to stir activity in this section.......

Who's tried UD 2.0? The famed diet created from the master mind of Lyle McDonald? I know Petefox is a fan, anyone else?

I'm trying it, right now. I have lost some weight. About 10 pounds in a month. For me that's pretty good. I have a hard time thinning out.

Its basically a diet/training routine centered around not only retaining muscle while dieting, but possibly gaining it (of course, androgens help), but its designed for nattys too. Its a sound diet with solid concepts and Ive never heard a bad review of it. Its basically low carb from Monday to Thurs AM, then a carb load from Thurs. PM to Friday at Bedtime, workouts go from high reps/high sets during the low carb period (a pain in the ass, but depletes muscle glycogen), to hypertrophy training during the refeed, or carb load to power/strength training later in the week. Moderate cardio, minimal supplements and you're looking at 1.5-2lbs pure fat loss (if youre doing it right) a week.

Saturday you do a power routine, having the primary amount of carbs pre workout, then the remainder of the day you begin to ramp down your carbs. Sunday there is no workout and you eat right around maintainance calories to prepare yourself for the next 3 low carb days.
