Stevia

Have any of you tried stevia? It is a sugar alternative. I was wondering how the taste is? And if it is expensive? Thanks in advance for any help.

I know some family friends that are from Canada and they said that it is big up there. They also said it is supposed to be the next crave. I might ask them to smuggle some in. HAHA.

I like this stuff better then splenda its sweeter IMO and does not contain dextrose or malto like splenda does. Its all natural. I use "Now" food brand its a little more spendy though

stevia is a traditional herbal product that comes from the leaves of a native South American shrub. Stevia has been used by the Guarani Paraguayan idians for hundreds of years.
I read this off my stevia container ; ). I use it everyday and love it. Its pricey but you only use a tiny little bit. Its 300 times sweeter than sugar so you literally only need a pinch, if you get pure stuff. Sinse it comes from a plant, it can have a bitter aftertaste, but only if you use too much. I recommend it
