I need Creatine knowledge

I've upped my protein intake and now I want to add creatine into my diet

I'm 20, and i took creatine in 9th grade but i didn't know anything then and it just made me fat

now my diet is real clean and i have a solid workout routine, so I'm just looking for a little something extra to help me bulk up

i also need to know when i should take the creatine and how much to take

i currently have two or three protein shakes a day....I try to have one w/ breakfeast, one post workout, and one before bed

when do i throw the creatine in? and how often should i take it?

like i said i'm 20, about 190, my body fat i'm guessing is between 10 and 14% but i haven't had it officially done, and my goal is to bulk up

and also if im ordering from power nutrition which one should i be looking at?

i see swole and creatine are the most popular

Recommended Use:
Take one level scoop in 16 oz. of water twice daily, preferably 8-12 hours apart WITH FOOD. SwoleV.2 can be combined with other Syntrax products for increased athletic performance.

is this really hard to take down with water like the protein whey is? I cannot drink that protein without milk, it makes me feel sick

like you im also 20 and did for the first time take creatine my frosh year.to conclude my knowledge of this supp the powder form is always best over the liquid types.and when i took again a few months back felt more refreshed after hard workouts and only gained minimal weight.but creatine helps replenish the muscles with water that normally would not be there.in contrast read up on the more detailed notions of this supp.

hope this helps.

take em in two different drinks after your workout (but first thing in the morning cause u usually only need 8-12 oz of water/milk with your protein and your gonna need 12-17 oz of water (not milk) with your creatine. im on it now and you feel pretty full after drinkin all that but it usually goes away after about 30mins to an hour

Get you some grape (or other) flavored kool aid. One 20 cent pack makes 2 quarts of grape flavored water. Just do not add regular sugar. I only use creatine post work out. For my post workout I add 55g of Dextrose sugar, 10g creatine and 8oz grape kool aid. Then I mix and take a protein shake with milk and a tbsp of peanut butter right behind it. Works great for me.

Everything he said except for the peanut butter post workout. You should not be consuming any fats post workout, because it slows the digestion of the carbs, and protein which your muscles need FAST to replenish what you've just burned. Keep it simple.........gatorade, 10 grams of creatine and glutamine, and 40-50 grams of protein after workouts.

You can however add a tablespoon or two of natural PB to your bedtime shake to help slow down digestion during sleep.

Good call with leaving out the P.B post. I forgot about the fat content. My mistake. I'm glad you caught it.
