Well, first off I would like to say "hi" to everyone... been reading the boards for awhile but never posted... but it seems I have broken down..
time to ask for help I guess... over the last 3 months I have went from 186lbs to 150lb.. lost 36 pounds and am getting pretty happy with my weight. I simply cut back my food intake and started eating very VERY lean and with my active lifestyle the pounds just seemed to fly off (God bless being young?) the problem is, I have hit a wall... I can't seem to burn off this last extra bit, such as the last bit on my abs. I have a two pack atm (you can see the outline and the line down the center, but not the individual abs) as well as having a little extra on my arms. Ideas for getting rid of that last little bit? Do even more Cardio? I am dieing to start putting back on lean mass, tips on how to get the body fat % down a bit more before I start bulking back up? My stats are Male age: 19 5'11" 150lb. Maxing Bench at 225 (so I'm not horribly small) I'm not using any drugs besides Caffine and Ephedrine(sp) I'm not against gear, just don't know enough to feel safe using it yet, and I kind of want to see where I can get naturaly first. Thanks a ton guys, Winter |

What is your workout routine? How many days lifting and how many days and how much time cardio? Why don't you post your diet and training so we can get an idea what needs the change to get over that hump. I know it can be frustrating but everything has to be perfect to get that last little bit!

I'm not eating right at all. I have no set diet.
I have some type of lean meat for breakfast (6:00am) either chicken, 93% lean hamburger, alot of fish, but mostly eggs (1 with yoke, 3 white). skip lunch, maybe an apple, or some kind of fruit, but usely a diet redbull (10 cals). The Ephedrine simply destories my hunger. Dinner 5-6pm, again, some kind of lean meat with 1 side dish of something green. Usely esparigous (sp) which is my favorite and only has 75 cals/can which fills me up for quite awhile. I am using powder for my pro. and a multi-vite for everything I'm missing with that diet. I know it's not a good one, but it sure droped that first 30lbs well. As far as working out, about 1-2 hours per night of cardio in the form of football or basketball. And I lift every Tues, Thurs, Sat. Edit: also, no salt, butter, etc. though I do like pepper. Last edited by Winter : 03-15-05 at 02:34 PM. |

=bump=
well, the last couple weeks my weight seems to have leveled off, even put back on 3 pounds... but it looks good. Have uped my food intake though still eating lean, was able to add more weight again at my workout these last two weaks, but I'm afraid my BF% still isn't any lower, though I don't think it is any higher either. |
