Sugar cravings

Hi everyone,
I have a question about sugar cravings. Now that I am trying to get my diet in order I have been doing my best to cut out sugary foods and drink more water. My problem is after eating a meal I feel like something sweet is missing at the end. For instance for one of my lunch meals I will have grilled chicken and mixed vegtables. When I am done it's like I have the need to polish off the meal with something sweet (not necessarily candy but maybe juice or something). My question is what are healthy alternatives to rid myself of these cravings? Currently I have been having a small amount of Jello to hold me over. Thanks in advance and thanks for the great info and recipies.

Sometimes when I'm craving sweets in the evening I'll have a couple chewable Vitamin C's. Seems to help a bit!

I keep snacks around the house that have splenda in them in place of sugar. Right now, my snack of the month are Cinnamin glazed almonds.

Is having some fruit like a banana or an apple or pear a good idea? Right now I'm trying to get my diet in order and not looking to cut just yet.

A piece of fruit is fine if your not really looking to cut.

Do you have to use milk in the Sugar Free pudding cause I think we all know not to have that much milk if trying to cut. Is water supposed to work cause I tried it once and it really didn't work too well. Right now my bedtime snack is ON chocolate casein powder with butterscotch sugar free pudding--mm,mm,good! Lot healthier than my old snack of Kemps Caramel Cow tracks ice cream!

I just tried the protein power mixed with FF/Sugarfree Jello pudding. Use half the package with 1 scoop of protein. Slowly add water and stir to desired consistency. Let it sit in the fridge for about 15 mins and then enjoy. Could use milk instead of the water too if you wanted.

Yeah, I also finally figured out how to do it with water instead of milk. I think milk is fine and tastes way better if you're not dieting. Just so everybody knows, it takes much less water than milk cause the milk helps thicken it up.
