I'd say given those options, leave it the way it is. The shake has more fat than i'd want first thing in the morning. The shake looks like a good meal replacement, but I prefer eating really clean for my first meal in the morning so that I can halt any catabolic processes ASAP.

about 6 days a week i wake up to 8 egg whites, occasionally i will treat myself to 6 egg whites and 2 yolks but maybe twice a week tops
i feel weird if i dont eat some type of solid food when i wake up.....like if you don't go to the gym for a day or two and your skin isn't feeling quite as tight, i get a feeling like that |

Im with Taylor, i think you have to eat some type of solid food when you wake up in the morning. I think the order is fine that you have it in right now. It would be different if the shake was straight whey but you have everything else in it to make it a meal.

"your" shake first (it contains 'real food'), then the eggs as the second meal.

Well heres another one, I have my eggs and a shake at the same time with a bowl of oatmeal. I get the whole foods and the quickness of the shake as soon as I get up.

Rocket, I've done the same thing as bowbow and feel a lot better if I'm eating more protein. A scoop of whey and 6 eggs is still only about 50gms of protein and then you get both. If your options had offered a different shake with less fat, I probably would've picked that. I just don't like a lot of fat in the first meal of the day. If you were to take out the PB and flax oil, I probably would have said to do the shake first.
My first reply was based entirely on the "cleanness" of the meal, not whether a shake or solid foods were better.
