uncooked oats?
i eat tons of quaker old fashioned oats, but recently i have not been cooking them. I just add hot tap water. I realize that cooking can alter the Glycemic index of certain foods. Will my decision not to cook the oatmeal be a negative, positive, or nutrual decision. In other words, will it have any effect on the GI of the oats. Thanks alot

It won't change it enough one way or the other for it to be a big deal...
