Higher mercury levels found in imported tuna

Higher mercury levels found in imported tuna
Fish from Ecuador, Mexico exceeds federal limits, environmental group says

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13814008/

Updated: 10:56 a.m. PT July 11, 2006

WASHINGTON - Many imports of canned tuna have mercury levels higher than the federal limit, according to analysis by an environmental group.
...................

FDA says it’s safe to eat two meals a week — a total of 12 ounces -- of fish and shellfish that are lower in mercury, such as canned light tuna, shrimp, salmon, pollock and catfish.

But the agency says to limit albacore, or “white,” tuna to one meal per week, 6 ounces, because it contains higher levels of mercury.

That is true because I was eating alot of tuna for a while about a couple months ago and I had to go to the doctors for the fact that mercury in my large intestine stopped its function and it was poisining me, for about a week I thought I was about to die lol.

Shit! I eat a can of albacore tuna every day. Why is albacore different from the regular tuna? I think albacore tastes much better.

What does memory loss and tuna have to do with mercury. Uh Oh, the memory loss has already sunk in. Maybe its because i am just hungry. How about a nice can of Tuna. That will make everything better.

Because albacore is a bigger species of tuna and eats more food near the earths crust wich is spewing mercury because of volcanic activity. Bigger Fish eating more mercury = more mercury per fish
