Why/\? You need some food before hitting the gym; otherwise you’re destroying the muscles.

12:pm - pwo shake (50g whey), 1 cup oats, 1 banana, 8oz fat free milk.

Why/\? You need solid foods. Shakes are good after the gym(hits the system faster). But you still have not consumed any food what so ever.

12:30pm - plate of pasta (if i dont have pasta ill make a grilled chicken or steak sandwhich with 2 pieces of whole wheat/whole grain bread.

So if you have pasta, you don’t have meat???

1:00pm - can of tuna w/ banana

Why/\?

2:00pm - 8oz chicken breast (steak if no chicken or another can of tuna if no chicken or steak), a big bowl of salad with a little ranch dressing.

Why/\?

3:30pm: 25g protein shake with half cup oatmeal

Not bad/\ But you need more protein. You also need more substance; way more.

4:30 im going to cook a plate of eggs. 2whole eggs +6 egg whites

Overall your diet IMO needs major work. You have no substance, well at least not much at all.

I will agree that this diet sucks but your reasoning also sucks. Your first caloric consumption of the day should be liquid, in the form of a protein shake. The body, upon waking up, is in a catabolic state. The body needs calories ASAP, what better way than a 100% whey shake and maybe a scoop of vitamin C powder. Then about 20 minutes later, have a whole meal breakfast.

Why not apply the sample principle of post workout to the principle of just waking up? Its the same concept, the body needs calories/protein fast.

What I meant was why have 3 cups of coffee and maybe not some Oats, something solid? I know that a liquid(like a nice well made shake) would be really good(right about that)...But just to have 3 cups of jo to start off At this rate, he would be eating away muscle...I did explain it wrong, but I knew what I meant...Just typed faster than I thought; send me a bill for it.

I think the way this kid is going, he really has no direction, needs to read more, make up his mind, etc...I think he knows what he needs to do, but needs much better direction.

I did have a pwo shake after the gym. I went to the gym 30 min after having the coffee....? didnt think diet sucked that bad?? I've been liking the way my diet is now and its showing. Those little meals during the day help keep my stomach burning something while giving me carbs for energy. My last diet, i wasn't eating that many carbs and it was making me tired and grogy because i was freaking myself out that the carbs were gonna make me fat but i learned that im getting leaner eating more.

After i ate the bbq chicken i had a nother bowl of salad with ranch dressing. Then cooked some lean ground beef with hot sauce on it. Then ate some servings of peanute butter and ate 5 eggs whites on top of that. I did have a small piece of steak that my GF didn't eat the nightbefore too that i folded between one piece of bread.

It was hard to eat something that morning because i ate so much the night before i was still full so i just had some coffee because the site of more food just didnt go well.

This morning for example.. I had about a 8 ounce glass of orange juice, 2 whole eggs plus 5 egg whites, and a cup of oatmeal.

For some reason, towards the end of the day and in the middle of the night is when my craving for food is the worse but i dont ignore it so i eat anyways. like last night i woke up about 1 in the morning and made a sandwhich with a can of tuna and ate some peanut butter. then had a protein shake. If i dont eat durning the night i cant sleep and i get moody and when i have a puppy that constantly barks during the night, it keeps my from killing the fucker.

My goal is to gain muscle mass. I'm not too worried about cutting because so far i've been cutting up more now than with my past diets. I meet a body builder that used to do shows here in my state and he told me diet, much like training is basicaly what works for you. And i've basicaly done that and when i first started training at the gym i wasn't getting anywhere with other peoples workout plans so i made my own and did what caused me the greatest gains. I can basicaly almost sense what my body needs as far as foods. If im getting too tired or grogy, i eat more carbs, if im still hungry after a meal, i add more fats.. and protein is just a must anyways.

Basically he's not asking for help - or even asking a question - he's posting his diet for the hell of it....
