how long before workout do you eat?

I try to eat about 90 mins before i workout. usually egg whites with oatmeal and a tablespoon of peanut butter

depends on my workout, but i've sometimes been known to eat between sets.

It depends...For the most part I eat 45mns prior & no later than an hour after...Funny thing is that ever since I've been off, my diet has been so much better IMO...I feel like I'm eating cleaner and more consistent now

I workout in the morning so my meal before I train is breakfast. 2 whole eggs, 6 egg whites scrambled, 1 cup oatmeal mixed with banana and pecans. 1 cup of coffee.

i usually go to the gym about an hour after i eat that.

If I do a gym workout I do them in the morning on an empty stomach. If I am running or martial arts training I have to give myself at least an hour and a half before and it has to be a protein and fats only meal.

If you are eating much of anything less than an hour before (especially low glycemic carbs and/or fats) you're potentially setting yourself up for some serious GI tract issues...

I eat right before and some times during workout.And actually every time I eat while working out, there is bigger progress than eating before and after
