Whats best for pre and post workout

hey just wud like to kno whats best to be taking before and after a workout. At the moment im not taking anything before i workout but drink water. After a workout i would have a shake, on wehy.

Another question something similar, every morning im doing hard cardio, typically 10miles or more boot running. Any ideas what i should be taking before and mabye after to help, and does any one rate the energy drinks, maximuscle viper for example to be using during exercise.

I think you should have a normal breakfast before your morning workout.
All the energy drinks could mess up you blood sugar levels and leave you dehydrated.

Pre/during workout
30 grams BCAAs
2 grams taurine
4 grams AAKG
30 grams waxy maize starch
200 mg caffiene
1 gram green tea extract

PWO
80 grams waxy maize starch
10 grams creatine
2 grams taurine

10 minutes after that^
100 grams ON 100%whey

You can vary those amounts a little. That's just what I take. The pre/during workout stuff gets mixed up in a liter of water and I sip it on the way to the gym and as I'm working out.

before my workout i used to take N.O Xplode and post workout Cellmass and Whey Protein Isolate. The N.O Xplode helped me get past my plateau, and helped me lift really heavy and get my arms veiny as FUCK. The Cellmass is your creatine, though i took it for 3 months i really didn't really see any dramatic gains, but a little. Good stuff though, so give it a try. For your morning run don't take any supps, just post whey protein and complex carbs.

I dont really get much into the whole pre workout thing. I have a protein shake, oats, and some coffee about an hour before I train and thats it. post workout is the important time IMO. for me its Vitargo CGL, and ON Whey.

I think as long as you've got a solid diet you don't need a "special" pre-workout boost, just stick with the basics...

I wouldn't say you "need" it, but for that matter all you really need is food, water and air. Alot of the stuff I take (like BCAAs) is to prevent catobolism, which is very important IMO.

I use/have used whey, creatine, bcaa's, chromium, glucosamine, l-carnitine, and I'm sure one or two others BUT those are somewhat "basic" IMO and the typical gym goer (having been in that category most of my life) really just needs to dial in their diet before taking these things as it is...

I've noticed a difference since I started sipping an amino acid supplement before and during my workout (Amino Vital Pro).

Post-workout, I like to slam down a serving of CellMass mixed with 1/2 of a carb drink immediately after my last set. Take a serving of whey isolate 15 minutes after that.
