Gatorade post workout?
So I have read a few articles talking about the benefits of drinking gatorade post workout for those simple carbs. I can't go too crazy on the supplements due to being a poor college student so I figured I'd give it a try. As of now my supps are Kre-Alkalyn creatine, ON 100% whey, and a multivitamin. Anyhow, would gatorade be sufficient to provide my carbs in my PWO meal along with creatine, whey and a spoon full of natty peanut butter? Also, if I were to stick with the gatorade PWO, is there an advantage to getting the powder form over the bottled form?

not the best form of sugar. you could buy bags of dextrose for cheaper then you could Gatorade. the PB would be better served for later in the day as it slows the digestion of protein and carbs, not what you want right after a workout.

fat (in your case peanut butter) blocks GH output which you should avoid PWO or PRE-WO. i agree with B, its ok remember gatorade has a lot of sodium in it too. i sip it though heavy squat and dead routines to avoid vomitting at the gym. also gives me a little booast on thoose days.
