I think the can has like 2.5 servings, which is around 32.5grams of protein or so. Thats how much the ones I buy contain.

Im eating about 2 cans throughout the day with some sweet or baked patatos. I was eating around 4 cans per day before but cause I got worried about the mercury levels, I lowered it to 2 cans.

2 can of tuna has a lot of sodium and mercury. not the best thing in the world to eat a lot of. chicken breast is a much better option.

i would stick to one can a day. most tuna will have between 150-200mg of sodium per serving, times that by three servings, and its pretty high. some are better than others though

it does to some extent. but the meat will intake sodium from sitting i the solution inside the can. like bouncer said, chicken is the better choice. tuna is great protein wise, just the sodium i would worry about.

Well, assuming you arent overly concerned with water retention and your blood pressure has always been perfect, is it really a big deal if you take in a little more sodium than is recommended???

Word. Usually all of my chicken breasts during the day are the frozen 14 pack from Costco and I might have 1 or 2 cans of tuna a day. I dont add salt to much of anything while cooking, but i know that the tuna and frozen chicken in itself probably puts me over 2000 on its own.

Try a version of Grinders Mexi-Ranch stir fry - basically just fat free ranch and salsa - throw some oats in and you're good to go...

You can always go with the ole Tuna Shake too - it isn't nearly as bad as it sounds - I promise if you hold your nose you'll be fine ....

The tuna mush that BOUNCER posted a couple years ago and the tuna burgers are badass. Search for them, you wont be sorry. BOUNCER, i have been feeding that to my clients for a couple years now. They love it, bump for a good recipe. Personally my favorite tuna dish grosses everyone out but I take 1 cup (uncooked) brown rice which is about 2 cups cooked with 2 cans tuna and about 1/2 cup "thick and chunky" salsa and mix it all up. Eat with a spoon. Makes your house smell like hell though.
