Increasing Red Blood Cells

This does not pertain to an AAS cycle, but by diet instead.

Just curious if red blood cells can be temporarily increased safely through diet. For example a particular food that plays a role or something of that sort.

Thanks in advance.

People on high protein diets usually have more red blood cells then those who don't eat enough protein. So you are probably already doing enough. Any particular reason you asked this. Everything ok?

Yes, to my knowledge everything is fine with me.

The question was in relation to reading about altitude sickness and increased red blood cells limiting it's effects. Possible a borderline off-topic thread, but was curious about the role someones diet could play in this so I posted it here.
