CATABOLISM!!!!
Well, the cutting diet isn't starting out as great as I thought. I have lost 3 pounds in 4 weeks. Not terrible by any means, but every time I start to get the least bit hungry, the horror stories of catabolism and muscle loss creep into my head and I'm like, shit I have to eat before I go catabolic!! As long as I am still eating every 3 hours and keeping up my protein is catabolism as much of a threat as everyone says?? I am eating a few too many calories but its not because of a lack of willpower at all. Hell I could eat 1000 calories a day if I knew I wouldnt lose muscle and that would be fine. I just get scared and almost have a complex about losing muscle...

this is a vicious mind game. when you cut you feel small and you want to be big, when you get big you feel fat and you want to cut. it is for this very reason that you see 90% of the guys in the gym never change. they go back and forth and are never happy and they waste there time.
you are going to lose muscle when you cut. no matter what you do. stick with it and achieve your goal. |

You could take an amino acid supplement throughout the day between meals but that would get expensive.
