Whey protein for sensitivity
I am looking for a whey protein powder that is easier to digest preferrably one that has a natural sweetener such as Stevia. Can't remember what the name is but I know they exist. I now use the goat whey one which does have whey protein isolate and casein but I don't want the Sucralose.

Well, I had an allergy test that showed that I was highly allergic to cow's milk, egg and soy and I don't really understand the difference between whey protein isolate, casein, whey protein concentrate if any. I had 100% pure new zealand whey powder which really bothered me but this goat one I have has the first 3 ingredients that I mentioned but they are not the first ingredients. I want to see what my options are, if there are any powders that may be different and using low dose protein shakes like rice and hemp are not worth it for me.

I am allergic and I get stomach cramps badly with the whey protein along with alot of bloating even thought my goat protein has whey in it, it only bothers me a little if I have alot of shakes. I was not tested for an allergy to whey per se.

am I correct in my thinking...I don't see that as an allergy per se. an allergy I would imagine would be a full body histamine reaction...not just an upset bloated stomach. have you tried taking a lactose enzyme supplement with your shakes or as part of a daily regiment? I know I had to look a long time to find a shake that I liked. and I don't want to push a certain place since we have board sponsors but when I finally could make my own blend it made it easier on my stomach. now I barely know I have it in my system.

Have you tried taking a tab of Lactaid with the whey shake? I used to get gassy as hell from lactose, but with a tab of Lactaid right before I eat/drink....milk and milk products are no problem.

I will try lactaid pills as I would like to have more options with the protein shakes. I actually never heard of milk allergies, just lactose intolerance until I had a test done by my natur-path to pinpoint what was bothering me.
