Pre-Workout; Early Morning Meal
For my upcoming "bulker", and due to my schedule, I look forward to working out early in the morning, at 7:00 am. I naturally get up at 6:00am so the only thing on my mind is getting a good pre-workout meal.
In esscence, I need a meal that is readly absorbed within an hour's time. When I say absorbed, I mean it needs to be completely digested and the nutrients need to be entered into the bloodstream. I also need to it help create an anabolic environment. I know that any food still digesting in my stomach will cause less blood to be available for my muscle "pumps" and might promote less then adequate gains. I'm thinking of using some Whey Isolate 25g and about 16 oz. of orange juice 1 hour before training and 3000mg of BCAA's. Since liquids are absorbed easily, these two should be a great choice. What do you all think? I posted this on MassMonsterz as well ! |

Sounds like a fairly decent plan

I agree with YJ; the carbs from the OJ aren't sufficient to get you through your workout.

I agree as well, 1 cup of oatmeal, 2 cups yogurt and four eggs, egg white or the whole egg suits me good for 1 hour before I train. They all digest quickly.

I would advise the following=
4 scoops of whey isolate 12 broccolli spears 15 flaxseed oil softgels (take these with water seprately) water tons of ice and mix I do it everyday-this is for real-and yes it works perfect!!! fits the bill nicely I would also add 4 cc's of VPX's Clenbutrx upon waking too
