No, it's not that I don't like him by any means. I just find it funny that he replies with some type of "advice" to every post. Maybe I've just been around a long time, so I know more about the members (who's knowledgeable, etc)- but it's obvious Scott does not need the advice of a novice.

Also, in my opinion if I didn't know what orange roughy was, I'd take 2 seconds to Google it before I said "you need to eat fish" - but maybe that's just me.

lol, my bad

Just trying to get in the game thats all...

its funny how meals 2,3,4 are all chicken...if it was me, i would replace one of those meals with fish instead of chicken.

Having fish post workout is good IMO, high protein.

I understand that, and you're right, everyone has to start somewhere. And Scott is a nice enough guy to explain why he wasn't eating beef instead of being an a$$ like curtus thinks I am lol..

i dont like how low your fat intake is. add to that that your carb level is not very high either. you are going to waste muscle. i know what you are doing, you are in a rush to get rid of the bodyfat because you are sick of it. but in the rush you are going to waste a lot of muscle. get some more fat in there and take your time with cutting down.

carbs are 306 grams -- which i will keep -- i can increase fats though to offset the low carb - can bump 1/4 cup walnuts to 1/2 cup and add them in meal 7 - which pushes me to 120 grams fat with the walnuts alone

yes, you need more fat, you are far to big of a guy to have so little fat and so little carbs. that is a starvation diet for you bro. cut slowly. you are going to lose a ton of muscle if you do it fast like that.

this is all the carbs in your diet as you posted. the following does not = 306 grams of carbs. more like 200 grams.

Meal 1: 1 cup oatmeal

Meal 3: 1/2 cup brown rice meal

Meal 5:1 cup oatmeal

Meal 6: 50 grams malto

make meal 3 1 cup of rice instead of 1/2 cup. add in like 2 TBSP of natural Peanut butter to meal 1. i also think you will benefit by changing one of those chicken meals to a different source of protein. maybe 5-6 whole omega 3 eggs, that would replace the chicken as the protein source and the nuts as the fat source.
