Salt?

Does salt have any negative affect on your health or gaining weight?

i don't addd any salt to my foods.... but I like to eat a lot of bbq sauce and ketchup, usually things with high sodium levels. This helps retain some water in the muscle and makes me stronger in the end. I am not dieting.
