Does salt have any negative affect on your health or gaining weight?

makes you retain water. i still use it just in moderation. it dosnt effect gains though

i don't addd any salt to my foods.... but I like to eat a lot of bbq sauce and ketchup, usually things with high sodium levels. This helps retain some water in the muscle and makes me stronger in the end. I am not dieting.
