Could this diet work for me guys

Im planning of eating less carbs and all to lose some bodyfat, and do cardio also. Im planning to do this shit but with eating 6 cans of tuna a day. Each can has around 30-40grams of protein in it, plus what I eat it with.

9:00AM- 4whole eggs w/bacon and a protein shake
(46-50gms protein)

11:00am- 1 canof tuna w/baked patato with water
(36-40gm protein)

1:00pm- A pro-rated shake (22 grams)

2:00pm- 2 chicken breast or 2 cans on tuna w/patato and water
(72-80 grams)

3:30pm- 1 pint of milk(8 grams protein)

5:30pm- 2 cans of tuna alone with water (36-40grms)

8:30pm- 1 can of tuna with water (36-40grams)

11:30pm- 4 egg whites and a pro-rated shake (32 grams protein)

this totals up to around 292-312 grams of protein there. Would that be enough for me to lose some bf while keeping the carbs low. ***How about in a cycle can this diet be effective.********

have you considered a CKD? I just finished a 20 week CKD and the results are awesome. Very, very little muscle loss. Overrall I think your proposed diet looks alright, maybe you could substitute the potatoes with some brown rice or oatmeal? Dont forget your veggies too!

My suggestions would be to add fiberous veggies (broccoli, red peppers, onions, lettece) and nix the potato in favor of yams, brown rice, and oatmeal. I'd also get rid of the milk as it has milk sugars which can make you retain water. No lactose when dieting

Also, what is your goal? from your signature I see that you are currently 225. If your goal is 200 then 300 grams of protein a day sounds right to me. A good rule of thumb is to take you target body weight and multipy by 1.5.

I don't know what time you work out but if I were you I'd keep all my carbs (other than veggies) 1st thing in the am and then pre- and post- workout.

Just my .02.

So, you're not "on" right now I take it. If you want to lose the gut I'd give up on gaining right now and concentrate on cutting. At 14% bf you should be able to do a short 8 week diet and get pretty lean, maybe not competition lean, but lean enough to see your abs. And 8 weeks is nothing! Then you can start your bulk nice and lean and then most of what you put on will be muscle. hehehe....

Baby food is just full of sugar, my husband tried it once and it's not worth it, too expensive. Baby food and milk are for babies. Extra protein in your protein shakes? If I were you I'd just use another scoop.

Way to much protein in most of your feedings, man!! your 2:00 meal alone has something like 130-150 grams of protein alone and no carbs or fat to balance it out. You must be on the toilet quite a bit. Your body on average can only assimilate about 50 grams of protein in one sitting, so you are wasting quite a bit of food there. You should stick with one chicken breast or one can of tuna per sitting and balance each and every meal with carbs and fat. have oatmeal or a whole grain cereal with your breakfast meal and some flax oil. Try a sweet potato and nuts with your lunch. Have brown rice and maybe some natty peanut butter with another snack. Have veggies with your night meal maybe tossed in olive oil. Play around with different things, but make sure all your feeding are balanced with all three macro-nutrients. You will definately notice a difference.
