Alcohol and the effects with training

I'm 5'9 180lbs with a figure much like a Roy Jones Jr.

However I drink at least a 1/2 liter of any hard alcohol avalaible everynight...hell I'm in Baghdad getting shot everyday and night. I have to take the edge off to send these mother f*ckers to meet Allah. I avoid beer because sh*t my abs are ripped and I don't need the carbs. Does drinking this much harm an athlete? Research says that drinking in moderate consumption is ok but who's to say whats moderate? What yall think

1/2 a liter is a lot. Maybe your abs won't suffer but your liver will eventually.

I feel for you over in Irag though. God be with all of you over there. Take care!
