Old MLB Stars
I gotta say that in baseball, it's almost the older the better. Look at how these people are coming into their own late in life. Mark McGwire, a good player all along, comes to life... same goes for Barry Bonds. I know you can attribute alot of this to steroids, which we all know they use and the MLB doesn't test. But look at these great pitchers. Randy Johnson pitches a perfect game @ age 40 to cap off one of - or arguably - the best pitching career ever. Glavine pitched a 1-hitter the other night. Granted he's been sorta silent the last 2 seasons, but a 1-hitter at his age is impressive. I just think it's nice to see that in at least one of our sports, the old guys can command some real respect from their peers other than just legendary memories.
