Belichick find a way to slow the Colts?
The sports section of my newspaper has an article saying how "The team left the Gillette Stadium grass uncovered through Wedsneday's rain and Thursday's fog. With more rain or snow expected today and freezing tempratures for the weekend, the Ind Cot's prolific offence could find the footing funky in Sunday's playoff game."
Sounds like an interesting idea. It goes on further to say that this dosn't mean a ground crew won't go out there and do there best to fix it. |

Yeah this is actually a common occurance.
There is a league rule that states that they need to cover the field 24 hours before game time. But nothing that requires it to be covered the entire week before. It works perfect for New England as they need to slow down the colts. It will be really sloppy i think. At wrigley field, this happend for every team. If a quick team was coming to town, they would let the grass grow and not cut it on game day to slow down the infield

I can't see the Pats stopping the Colts without Law, Poole and Seymour.

I agree that the Pats will be hard-pressed to stop the Colts with so many second-stringers playing defense.

Belichick is, hands down, the best coach in the NFL.

The weather was a huge factor in that game. Not that the Pats didn't play really well....but the snow and bad footing definately fucked up the Colts' deep passing game.
