I know they announced it's over....BUT....there are persistant rumors that ongoing negotiations have brought players and owners very close to making a deal (thought to include a 45 million dollar salary cap). If they get it done soon, it's thought that they'd have a week of training camp, a week of exhibition games, and then a 28-game regular season followed by full-length playoffs that would run until the end of june.
