Bonds said he was physically and mentally "done," (How stupid can the media be?)
"The San Francisco Giants slugger also said he was physically and mentally "done," and blamed the media for at least part of his troubles."

Bonds said "My son and I are just going to enjoy our lives. You guys wanted to hurt me bad enough, you finally got me." Then the media asked "Who finally got to you", like they had no clue. It was as the reporters were trying to get him to say that they won their mission on destroying Bonds's career.

I believe the word he used was "tired". He also said the media has "hurt" him.
 He has only hurt himself. Wanting his son in the frame as they interview him and speaking as if he was in a library.....what fuckin' smuck. Walk away Barry......please just walk away!

I'm guessing that he'll be back for July, August, and September and smack 20-25 dingers.
Rehab can get you down...I know, I've had a difficult knee rehab to deal with before. Bonds overreacted to his setback, and let his frustrations out in front of cameras when he should have just bitten his tongue and avoided them.

There was just a piece done on him during SC. What it seem to come down to for the media, is that there are saying that they just want to get to know Bonds. He dosn't open up to them, so they are looking for ways to open him up. Maybe he dosn't care for everyone to know what he does off the field.
