Brady Quinn to Oakland?

During the Cowboy game yesterday, it kept getting mentioned that if Detroit wins, then Oakland will have the first pick in the draft. Also figuring they would want to take quinn since they need a QB ready to play. But I can't see a player like Quinn and coming from a legendary private school playing in the black hole.

Nothing wrong with guys from notre dame going to the raiders. Look at tim brown and raghib ismael. I say we stick with walter and draft an 0-line.

Yea, but there not that pretty boy type. Could you see Brady or Manning (either one) playing for the Raiders? Raiders have just always given me that hard noise and maybe a little dirty, feeling.

Speaking of Brady Quinn, what the hell happened last night?! ND got destroyed.

They shouldn't been in the game to begin with. Not in the top 8 in the BCS, haven't won a bowl game in 9 years (before last night, now it's 10), played no compition with the exception of USC. I just don't think he is everything he is thought to be. He is a great quarteback with tremendous skill, but he can't win big games. I don't know what trait you call that, but he is missing it.

Does Quinn go number one even with last night? I think he is overrated, I still think he is good but I dont think is the best player out there. Go get someone else, or better yet trade down get some more picks and draft JeMarcus Russell he looks more their style anyway.

1. 10-2, and shouldn't be in a bowl game??? The same could be said for LSU. They lost to #3 Auburn, & lost to #5 Florida.

2. They also played Michigan, thanks. Also- please try and remember they had the 3rd toughest schedule in the nation at the beginning of the season. You can't fault them because the majority of teams on their schedule took a nosedive.

As for being a great QB- just take a look at his stats. They speak for themselves.

He will go in the first round, but he won't be the first pick. He'll be around the 4th or 5th.

JaMarcus Russell is a great athlete. He would get TOP dollar if he waited one more year.

??? We're talking about the NFL draft here, right? So are you saying the Raiders would trade Quinn away to get Garcia or Plummer?

I'll tell you this- Garcia isn't going anywhere. When McNabb got hurt he had some pretty big shoes to fill. Now, Philly is winning...in fact winning more than they did w/ McNabb....Garcia is cheap right now, and who knows how McNabb will be once he's healthy. I'll bet they keep him.
