NFL Commish John Goodell
Has destroyed the Patriots tapes the league confiscated.WTF why?What is he covering up?We know they cheated,I know the NFL needs a dominate team in the league,to try and save it from Nascar LOL.I dont see why they were destroyed unless somebody is covering someone elses ass.

They must have known it would piss you off.

Who's covering who's ass and for what? Nothing's being covered up. The Patriots aren't denying that the videotaping went on and they complied by turning the tapes over. They were fined, the coach was fined and they're losing draft picks. What more do you want? Should the league disband the team and ban all the coaches for life? If the league thought they had cheated, than they took the action they thought appropriate. Those tapes didn't affect the outcome of the Jets game in the least. There is no way they could have figured out what the Jets' defensive signals meant in time to change their offensive strategy. They would need a few days lead time to do that effectively. You don't just revamp your offensive strategy in the middle of a game. Besides, the videotape was seized in the first quarter.

I think they were destroyed simply because they are of no more use. Everyone knows what happened and you can find clips of it on You Tube. What's the point in keeping them? So they can be leaked out to other teams...?

An intelligent person WOW, and hes from NYC.You guys can learn a lot from nycmitch25.BTW the Patriots were fined and their shitty coach.Its funny this was done when his contract extension was comming up,so his signing bonus covered the fine.He actually lost nothing.They loss a first round pick?NE has 2 first round picks this comming season.The whole point of taking the tapes,the one from the jets game plus about 12 more I think, of other games obviously.They were fined for the jets game,and pending an investigation.Point is no action was taken for the other tapes,IF their was something wrong with them,they were destroyed.WHY? I can believe anyone would do that.Nobody outside the commishs office knows WHY!!! And Goodell aint telling!And as far as them falling into other teams hands LOL they change signals often and now im sure everybody has.Also they can decode it at about 70% in 3 possessions,with a film of it like was used in this case.100% by the half.

Yes, I'm fucking for real. I am a Patriots fan, but that doesn't mean I can't think impartially for myself. They punished him as they thought appropriate and he should have been punished. Jesus, they're not covering it up!!!!!!! The comissioner came right out and said that he knew for a fact that other teams were doing it too. That's not covering it up. If he did it again, sure, suspend him or force him to resign. Dogfighting and video taping opposing teams shouldn't carry the same punishment. Anyone with a brian knows that's just plain stupid.
