Should Brett Favre Retire? (2008 poll)

I thought I would go ahead an make another one. I finally feel that I'm ok if Favre retires but I also wouldn't mind if he played another year. GB has a young team and I wonder if it would be better to let Rodgers take over so that the team can grow together.

I'm mixed. I think Favre has had a great career, and his team finished with a really god record this year - however, his last play was an interception, yuck...

With his whole career having constant talk about INT, that last one doesn't seem all that upsetting as far as his career is defined.

I didn't mean an interception was the end of the world, or that it defined him by any means. Just that it sucks it was his last play.

He should CB and play one game with a winning TD and retire then

If he feels healthy, he should play. The Packers have a good team, and with their showing this year, they have a pretty good shot of landing an impact free agent and improving.

If you can still get to the conference championship game, you should still be playing. Baring a bunch of personnel changes next year, I'd be back...

Why don't you take a look at how Ryan Grant did the last 8 games of the regular season.

If he can still play that well then I say keep playing. I do feel bad fr Rogers though cause he's gonna be a damn good qb when he gets the starts.

I've decided that what ever happens I will be happy. If he plays a couple more years and then Rogers moves on, maybe at that same time the next future star NFL QB will be coming out of college. If he retires then Rogers is ready and knows the team...
